George Carpenter

George is medium height and on the skinny side. He has deep brown eyes and short blond hair which he over styles, in order to make himself look younger. George is a friendly person, with a kind face and a warm smile. He has a great sense of humor and was always the class clown. George has one overwhelming passion, Movies! From Art House flicks to 80's slasher movies, he has spent more of his life sitting in a movie theater than he has sleeping.

George sees himself as an artist, though he he has some natural talent, what he has always lacked is motivation. After High School, he went through two years of art school before dropping out. George has spent most of his adult life bouncing from retail to food services jobs until only a few years ago. George's mother, Mary, died of heart disease. Leaving him the family farm in her will.

Unwilling to move back to the "boonies", George sold the land to a real estate developer for a huge profit. With the money, George bought and renovated the Regency Cinema in downtown Harrisburg. During the renovation of the theater, George enrolled in Community College and got a degree in Business Administration. The "Regency" is George's pride and joy, he's outfitted the third floor of the building into a loft apartment.

George has some extended family near Lancaster but he's been almost completely disowned since the selling of his parent's land. George has a lot of acquaintances but few serious friends. His best friend is Sam, a student at the Capital Area School of the Arts, who shares George's love of all things celluloid. George's long time girlfriend Barbara works at the art school as an instructor, she keeps her own apartment but recently the couple have talked seriously about her moving in to the "Regency" with George.
